FB Mariano Domz, fashion review: 2016 Desigual s/s

One word to describe this collection and its runway exhibition: refreshing. It’s refreshing to see the models giving out such positive energy. Their interactions and performance was a delight to see. Their attitude and walks: professional.

The show was so good I watched it twice and am easily considering a third and fourth time just take in more of that positive vibe on the runway. Great idea for the runway layout. This was Not unlike experiencing a fun amusement ride. A fun roller coaster that  starts a little slow, but picks up, speeds up with good vibe and splashes of color and lively designs. Then behind one set is another set of designs (and energy from the models) that make it a fun experience.

I was impressed from the start. There’s some grey colors that caught me off guard for a summer collection, but the femininity of the designs more than compensates. And I can easily see those particular opaque tones for evening wear as well. There’s a jovial diversity of influences from Islamic, Moroccan, African, and Byzantine aesthetics. Skirts, dress, dress shorts, blazers. All feminine and practical.

Personally, as a Hetero male, the model who ended the show was my favorite. The ethnic models added life to the show.

I am a heterosexual man from Jalisco, Mexico. I grew up flipping through my mother's fashion and glamour magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. I do glamour photography in the Leon, Guanajuato region. I believe Yeshua is God. Today we call him Jesus Christ, but his momma called him Yeshua. As a photographer my forte is poses. I love teaching women how to pose. Both for my camera and for me to draw them. I also enjoy making music- composing original lyrics and making original beats. One of the best feelings is listening to the music I make while I'm skateboarding. And seeing beautiful women on the street and capturing their elegant poses with mental notes.
